we wanted a hotel outside the city where we could do some hikes and walks. the location was perfect! in a residential area, very quiet and beautiful with views of other islands and the channel also the local bus stops just outside so very convenient for moving around the island

The Hotel was very clean, the staff was helpful and nice, the garden was gorgeous, and it is great that the spa facilities can be used until 10pm and that kids are not allowed after 6.30pm. Hotel guests can use for free the indoor swimming pool, outdoor jaccuzzi and the sauna and steam room ! It cas all Perfect and room service was fast

Fantastic location, right on the beach. Incredibly friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. Excellent food - both the breakfast we included in our room --and dinner there on our own twice.

Fantastic service,friendly and efficient Very comfortable,quiet room,clean,warm and with everything we needed. Comfortable bed good quality bedlinen. Pleasant afternoon tea,very good evening meal and nice breakfast with plenty on offer. We even had the added bonus of Shaun helping us to change our flat tyre the next morning!

Very comfy bed and pillows. Wonderful staff! Delicious food at the restaurant!! Shuttle bus a great idea, especially with so many older people travelling . A good idea would be to have on hand bus number which comes past the hotel from town.

Plenty of room in the bedroom king size bed great view it was the premiere room in the hotel to dress in areas separate toilet separate bathroom with bath and shower double sink. Supplies slippers dressing gowns tea coffee water and sparkling water what more could you want.

Wonderful staff, beautiful and tasteful decor throughout, perfect location for enjoying the West Coast beaches and within walking distance of a sandy beach!

I've stayed at La Fregate a number of years ago and it only gets better. Excellent location and beautiful views over St Peter Port harbour. Comfortable rooms and excellent beds. The chef is outstanding and I enjoyed the best hot breakfast I recall having in a hotel. The restaurant for dinner is superb with a great seasonal menu.

We were a party of 4 adults staying here for 10 nights in June. The apartment was perfect for us, each couple had their own bedroom with en-suite shower room. It was very comfortable & had everything we needed for a very comfortable home from home stay, a separate kitchen plus a lounge/diner with TV. We were blessed with great weather & made full use of the balcony & the lovely heated pool. It was a bonus to have pool & beach towels provided. Although we walked to the centre of town most days we made use of the bus service on our return as it was quite a climb, saying that though the bus stop was only a couple of minutes from the property. Tracey kindly gave us each a Puffin card which we loaded with credit on the bus & for 75p per person per trip were able to get around the island very easily from that bus stop.
